Welcome to Redeemer!

Redeemer Lutheran Church is a welcoming worship community for people of all ages. We are large enough to have much to offer our members and the community, but small enough that everyone makes a difference. We believe in putting our faith in action by reaching out to others. Whether you are a new visitor or an old friend; whether you are a longtime Lutheran or just trying out church for the first time, you are welcome here!

PADS at Redeemer

As part of the DuPage PADS network, Redeemer serves as an interim overnight shelter site for the homeless of DuPage County each Saturday night/Sunday morning from May through September. In the months of May and September, we are often the only shelter site available. Our congregation, neighbors and other local organizations and churches work together to support this shelter.  Redeemer will staff the shelter twice during the summer months. Please save these dates and plan to participate in this church-wide initiative.

September 2–3: SIGNUP HERE

It takes nearly 40 volunteers to operate the shelter for one evening. There are many different ways to assist for all ages. Youth can easily assist with food preparation, serving and set up, if supervised by an adult.
