High School Youth Group
We are very grateful to be part of renewing our High School Youth Group. Thank you to the many youth that joined our Redeemer High School Youth Group Facebook page, came out to an event, and helped get this group meeting more regularly again. Thank you especially for the support from the parents and other members of Redeemer.
So far this year, a group of youth went to WorkCamp in Centralia, Illinois. We had an amazing time serving others and growing in our faith in temperatures over 100 degrees. After returning home, we really wanted to continue to build on our faith and the friendships we formed at WorkCamp by revitalizing the High School Youth Group. Annie Rusthoven, Jennifer Molinaro, Caroline Cimo, and Alex Franco worked together to help us build a calendar of events and service projects. So far this year, we served dinner to those less fortunate at PADS, shared lunches together at Corner Bakery, and got to know each other better during our Wednesday Night High School Youth Group meetings. The High Schoolers worked together to support the CROP Walk and the Hinsdale Community Service Food Pantry! We are now in the process of creating a High School Youth Directory, so we can keep better connected with each other. The Youth, Scott, and I greatly appreciate the support of the congregation and your excitement over our group.

Puerto Rico Mission Trip
We are very excited that seven youth and five adults are going to Puerto Rico from June 15-22. We will be concentrating on small home repairs and will also have the opportunity to worship with a local congregation, experience Puerto Rico, and meet and work with youth from around the country.
To help raise money for this trip the youth group will be having a bake sale and hosting coffee hour on Sunday March 17th and having a spaghetti dinner and trivia night on Saturday April 20th. If you have any questions about the trip, would like to participate in these events, or would like to help sponsor the youth and help them reach their fundraising goals please contact Bri Davis or Scott Spaniol using the email addresses at the bottom of the page.

To make things easier to remember, we attempted to plan Youth Group for the 1st and 3rd Sundays every month after the service (except April is the 2nd and 4th Sundays). We will add more service projects as we get to know each other and events arise in our community.
